Plastic in the ocean
Being part of the solution is in your hands
Saying ‘no’ to the excess of plastic is not just about preventing more plastic from ending up in the ocean. It’s a statement, a call to action – a tiny, but meaningful response to a global crisis. According to the United Nations, Every minute, the equivalent to a full garbage truck gets dumped in the ocean. By 2025 the world’s oceans could contain more plastic than fish.
The ocean is literally filling up with plastic. It’s time to take action. Our drinks are bottled in glass and aluminium cans, materials eternally recycable and the most recycled.
Glass: Glass is 100% recyclable, meaning it can be recycled endlessly without loss in quality or creation of waste by-products. Best of all, glass is non-porous and impermeable, therefore the flavor is not lost.
Aluminium cans: Durable, lightweight and 100% recyclable, by virtually every measure Aluminium cans are the most sustainable beverage package. Cheap to ship and produce, because it takes just 8 percent of the energy to produce aluminum from recycled material versus producing new aluminum, cans are by far the most recycled product in the world.
If you still need more reasons for reducing excess use of plastic out of your life, consider this:
The majority of plastic never gets recycled, they are burned, thrown into landfills… or into the ocean.
Besides taking 500+ years to biodegrade, ocean plastic slowly breaks down into smaller ‘microplastics’ that aquatic life and birds can mistake for food.
The excess of plastic in the ocean is a reality. Don’t you want to help us fight against it?
